Yo Cliff, I'm Andy from Tanner, Alabama.  I'm a certified RC-nut.  Been to 4 SEFFs so far and looking forward to my 5th one this year.  It's so great hanging out with both my brothers and my Dad...oh, and all my RC buddies too!

Cliff you may or may not remember it, but back on May 18, 2004, I came to visit your shop when it was in your hangar.  That was so cool.  I even flew my GWS Cub out in front of the hangar as the UPS guy was driving up.  Man, that was a long time ago, eh?  Check out the pics!  Cool

My name is Brent from south east North Carolina. I ended up here a serving for the Marine Corp and never left after being honerably discharged. I started flying free flight with my father back in the early 70's and we later got involed with R/C.  I have always been fascinated with flight and R/C is about as close as I can get to it now days. The photo below is back when I was in the Marines in 1983 with my wife. I Worked with the Ordanace systems on the A4 Sky Hawk. What a great aircraft that was. Cliff I envy the fact you have the ability to fly, thats awsome.

Tom, I visited charleston in 2006 and like the city, didnt see any graffiti, and enjoyed my stay there, and felt safer walking the streets of charleston than I did wandering the streets of London as a visitor there.  ps, love the patriots point museum :D

Hello,

Kevin here from the Buford, GA area.
I'm quite familiar with the Cumming area as I used to DJ at the roller skating rink that used to be where Northside Hospital is now.  I've been to Atlanta Hobbies and met Cliff in person.  I must say you all are a great bunch of people and I love what you are doing with this venture.

Being in the software development industry for almost 25 years, I am quite a technology nut and love to play with electronics.  I have been building computers, electronics, and robotics for years and have just recently discovered the fun of rc aviation.

Keep up the EXCELLENT work with the RC Radio Network.  And having grown up in the 70s-80s, I absolutely love the classic music you guys play.  Money is tight, but I love what you guys are doing and wanted to show my support, so I donated $3.

Regards,
Kevin

 very nice flying there...
Ya Corsairs are very nice fliers. I have a scale 50" scratch built electric powered foamie that flys like a dream.
I have the control  surfaces set for a bit more pitch  than scale specs which makes it very responsive It almost flys like an aerobatic sport plane.
This one is a belly lander but I am building one with rotating retracts and flaps to bring it in down and dirtyCool and to make it a bit more to scaleSmile
Check out our Workshop thread... http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1142716
Pretty nice planes to be foam... you might even want to build one. all the plans are on the first page, I think the third post.

Listening from Canberra Australia.
Canberra is Australia's Capital City, not Sydney or Melbourne like most people think.
It's about 3 hours SW of Sydney and we can fly pretty much 364 days a year here.
Winter gets a bit colder here than most parts of Australia, but it doesn't snow here in the city.
About 300,000 people live in Canberra and we have 3 main flying clubs.

Only thing that stops us flying in the mornings is fog but that burns off.

Enjoy listening to the podcast.

I'm listening from Upper Sandusky, Ohio.  We don't have roller coasters, but we do have lots of corn, wheat, and asparagus!  lol.  I was introduced to your show by a few folks from the RCPA facebook group.  I believe Robert Sams introduced you to me.  Keep up the great work, I tune in every chance I get, and if not, I listen to the pod casts!

Hello from the high desert of SoCal!  I just started listening to the RCRN and really enjoy it.  I just recently have become podcast unchallenged so I have tons of podcasts to catch up on.  That's not bad since I have an hour each way on y commute.  The bad thing about that is I hear about all the great giveaways and want to participate and then I realize those happened months or even years ago.  :)
I started in RC back in 2005 and have been hooked ever since. I took a small hiatus for about 8 months because I got burnt out and had to take a break. I really enjoy the sport of RC and I try to do my best to promote model aviation. I even took a spin at heading up the AMA Leader Members as their chair person, and really enjoyed working with the great folks at AMA, but sadly, I had to drop out for personal reasons. Now I am focusing on the WAA-08 adventure and the balsa building clinics I am hosting on another forum.

Thanks for putting on a great podcast (wish I could listen to it live) and looking forward to more shows.

Frank

Listening from South Jersey, mainly from work ,where I go to get money to build and  fly models.
40 + years of model flying from free flight, old time ignition and electric sailplanes. Pretty much have had all kinds of planes but most flying now is thermal hunting with old tmers or sailplanes with contest flying mixed in for fun.

I'm listening from Larue, Texas. I have a ranch there with a grass runway where I do most of my flying. Was very happy to find the radio station, thanx for letting me join, looks like a great group! I fly mostly warbirds, Luftwaffe planes are my favorite, I just started flying EDF's and have been bitten by that bug now....... Starting a F-14 project with swing wings, as soon as the fans and motors get here!
