If you fly nitro, then you probably have this one figured out, but it's worth sharing.

Typically the nitro fuel tank is inside the plane where it isn't visible when fueling up, and you have to wait until fuel is pumping out of the fuel tubing leading to the muffler (or from the muffler), causing valuable fuel to be wasted. In order to save you $$$ and fuel, buy an extra fuel tank (6-10 ounces is enough). When fueling up, connect the fuel exhaust fuel tubing to the intake of the extra fuel tank (catch can). Pump your fuel until some enters the catch can. When the catch can gets full, or at the end of the day, pump the fuel back into the jug. At the end of the flying day, you'll find that you saved at least 1 fuel tank worth of fuel.
