Life has me busy with little time to fly and less time to be active online. Here's my recent build.

Started on Dec. 4, 2015, and finished her on 4-20-15. GWS C-47. Powered by two Emax CF2218 1600kv motors, GWS 7035 props, and 22A HURC ESC on 3S 2200mAh. Maiden to happen in about 1.5 weeks.

Resized one of my favorite shots of my GWS P-38 from Sunday. To me this is a great shot of this hobby, my friend and his 14 year old son are flying together in the background on a beautiful NC spring day.

So much fun- we probably had 15-20 Cubs [and cousins] flying that day.

Just a few more items on the GWS38: elevator setup, securing wires, electronics internally, balancing plane. The paint job is entirely by hand with brushes, no spray painting or airbrushing. It's been a learning curve for me with foam as this was my first foamy build.

GWS US contacted me over Facebook to help them with a project. Here's my project: GWS P-38 build in 2 months time providing them with pictures. Being my first foamy and GWS plane, will it become a Mercury Moment later in it's life?

Retracts mounted on the LG rails and laying in place for alignment adjustments.  Yes, the blue tape representing the wheels are in the wrong position in this picture, I rotated the struts accordingly for this misplacement, no changes noted in alignment.

Understand the fear of first flight with the amount of time put in to your wonderful project. I always laugh to myself when I pull it off from a scratch build with no plans......but only after I convince myself that its no longer a loss if I total it. Then I realize I'm really enjoying the experience no matter how it turns out ....MudMan, I'm sure she'll fly true and float but make sure you share the fun with your first flight video. .Thanks for the post with great progress and know this my friend, I've not really flown this season yet cause of home improvements and other hobbies............ but thanks to your pic, I'm heading out the door with my C -130 fully inspired.
